List of my Top Consortium Third-Party Administrators for
companies with FAA Drug and Alcohol Programs
Consortium/Third-Party Administrators (C/TPAs) manage all, or part, of an employer's DOT drug and alcohol testing program, sometimes including maintaining required testing records. They perform tasks as agreed to by the employer to assist in implementing the drug and alcohol testing program and to help keep the employer compliant with the DOT/FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing rules and regulations. ...Employers can be held responsible for service-agents, including C/TPA errors, and resulting civil penalty actions for noncompliance. C/TPA and other service agent violations may be directly addressed under the public interest exclusion (PIE) More 49 CFR Part 40 definition
These C/TPAs have either been audited by myself and/or my former teammates, they have also taken my certificate course. They have garnered a healthy industry track record for being on top of their program; when it comes to assisting their clients and going above and beyond to ensure that they do their best to help them stay fully compliant with the FAA guidelines.
As an FAA inspector, they're not allowed to recommend any service provider to companies. However, I can, and below is my handpicked list of C/TPA Service Providers who have a clear understanding of how to help you manage an FAA Drug and Alcohol Program. Although there are several listed please do your own diligence and research by calling and speaking with them, to ensure that they can help assist you with your individual program goals. This list is in no particular order of preference; click their logo to visit their website. If there's a C/TPA that is not on my list and you'd like to recommend them please email me at federaldrugtesting@gmail.com.
